Play Right: New Jammies Cosplay for Halloween

Halloween is the time of year when New Jammies kids of all ages get in the spirit of dressing up in costume. From spooky monsters and pop culture icons to zoo animals and funny characters, the options for kids and their families are as wide-ranging as the variety in the Halloween candy aisle. There’s definitely no shortage of candy this time of year.

Everything in moderation.

New Jammies pajamas are a great way to keep kids warm and comfortable on Halloween night when trick or treating, taking haunted hay rides, or hanging out at bonfires. We’ve compiled a few clever kids’ costumes from our New Jammies pajama collections to make Halloween fun and easy this year.

1. Light up your world

Our Starburst Mums 100% Organic Pajamas are cute and festive for not only spring and summer, but also in the fall for a Halloween costume idea. The mums design takes on a firework effect if you find a sparkly hat, and even socks or shoes, or add some glitter to an existing accessory to take Katy Perry’s advice, because she’s right. Baby, you’re a firework.

2. Show some lobster love

One of nature’s favorite critters finds its way to New Jammies fame, as big, bold, and red lobsters splash across these pure white organic cotton children’s pajamas as one of our most popular collections. Add a red tutu for a cute, rustic look. Or, with the help of Martha Stewart, craft some easy lobster claws out of felt (or you can use mittens) to make for a fun and warm Halloween costume.

3. Hard at work

Snuggle into our whimsical, comfy-fit Construction Jammies and top it off with a bright yellow toy hard hat for a super-easy hands-on Halloween costume. The construction theme can be taken to the next level with some baby work boots and a plastic tool belt from the toy aisle. Construction Jammies come in real handy for that quick fix for any last-minute Halloween buckle.

Pirate-Pajamas-Short4. A pirate’s life

Arrrgh, your little pirates will be on the hunt for tricks and treats in our adventurous Pirate Treasure Map Jammies. Add an eye patch and a homemade hat crafted from paper for a pirate-themed costume perfect for Oct. 31. Maybe a pencil-thin, curly mustache drawn on with black eyeliner. A parrot stuffed animal is a nice touch, too.

5. Fly the friendly skies

Our Airplanes New Jammies are the perfect way to earn some wings while paying homage to the friendly skies. The aviator theme could be taken to the next level with a pilot hat and kid-sized aviators and a yellow or blue tutu and flight attendant scarf. Keep it light, folks.

New Jammies Fall Photo Contest

This fall, we hosted a fall photo contest featuring  kids wearing their favorite pair of New Jammies. We are pleased to announce our winner, Crystal Evans, whose pic of her boys, 2 and 4, titled, “I wuv my brother!” earned her kids a year of free pajamas (4 pair), featuring a brand-new pair every new season. Crystal’s kids will pick from any style and size each season.

“They have the most adorable stylish patterns and they are organic,” says Crystal, of New Jammies pajamas.

When asked what new products she would love to see, Crystal says it would be “organic sleep tees in all different colors.” The New Jammies Fall Photo Contest winner is published on the New Jammies Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/NewJammies.
